DVD Player

Well, our portable DVD player for the car has finally gone caput. It lasted over four years, and has been a heaven sent on all our long trips to Vegas. But it's time for a new one, apparently. We'll look for a duel one this time now that we have more than one kid. Thank goodness it quit on a short trip to Payson, so Brock was able to entertain Tyler for the hour and a half it took us to get home through the canyon in the pouring rain.

Grams and Granddad

My parents came up for Conference this year and
we were able to spend some time with them.
We had a good time coloring Easter eggs.

It's Been Awhile

Sorry, no pictures this time. I've got lots to post, but time is short so I'll have to do it later. Just wanted to tell you a few things the boys have been up to:
Brock started baseball. Baseball is HUGE here in Price. This Saturday is the Little League Opening Day Parade! Brock gets to march in it in uniform with his team. I have also started reading Harry Potter to Brock before bed time, and he LOVES it! We're almost done with book two. I don't think I'll read past book three for now. We'll see how he deals with it. Only four more weeks of school left, thank goodness. We are all sick of it, to be honest.

Tyler is two - need I say more? He is curious, adventurous, mischevious, not to mention independent - at least he tries to be. He learns like 50 new words a day (his newest expressions - "nope, sorry!" and "hey mom, I'm in trouble"). To make matters worse, he's too smart for his own good, or maybe for my own good. He figures things out that a two year old should not be able to figure out yet. For example - he couldn't reach to turn the water on in the bathroom sink, so he used a bubble wand that was sitting on the counter to hook onto the hot water nozzle and pull it towards him. He absolutely hates being the baby of the family, so he's trying to grow up fast. I'm just grateful that I've been through this before with Brock. It makes it easier to deal with the tough days when I remember that it ends eventually.

That's it for now, I'll try to get pictures up soon.
