Great Grandma Weaver

She died my Freshman year of college, but she was such an amazing woman. I think of her often when I play the piano, because I know she's up there, listening. She was 91 in this video. She lived until she was 96. She was the Relief Society pianist until she could no longer make it to church (at least that's what I remember - hopefully I'm not telling lies), and she used to play the piano at the theater for the silent movies. So amazing!

Winter Weather - Or Not

It's Fall . . . it's Winter . . . Oh, I'm not sure what it is! One day I make the kids wear their winter coats outside, and the next, it's gorgeous and sunny. Then the next day it snows. I don't mind, believe it or not. The weather here is quite nice - I'll be the first one to admit it. Never too hot, and never too cold.
It's almost Thanksgiving, and I feel stuck in October. We have been planning our Young Women in Excellence Night for so long, that I feel like life is continuing on without me. After Sunday, I'm sure it will all catch up with me. Then I can get excited for the holidays. Our camera is on the fritz, so I don't have any new pictures. Maybe Santa will bring us a new one for Christmas! In the mean time, here's an oldie, but a goodie.
