So Funny

So we set up our pool in the back yard today. The boys have been waiting all week, but it keeps raining. I sent Brock inside to change into his swim suit, and it turns out the one we bought him last year for our Hawaii trip no longer fits. Only here's the thing - it's not too small, it's too big. He had to wear his one from two summers ago. Our conversation went like this:

"Wow, Brock, I guess you've lost weight," Ruth says.

"Yeah, that's because I've been eating Special K cereal," Brock states very matter-of-factly.

"Huh?"Ruth asks, not sure she heard him correctly.

"Yeah, I read that it helps you lose weight."

Ruth laughs her head off. 

We do have a lot of Special K on hand, because (in case you haven't read my list of favorite things on the right side of this page) the Chocolatey Delight kind is a favorite snack of mine.
